Introducing Pretty Nerdy!
Hey guys,
We’re Em and Nish, the co-directors of Pretty Nerdy!
Em is one half of Pretty Nerdy, and loves reading manga, anime and day dreaming about 2D characters. While Nish, the second half of Pretty Nerdy grew up with a love of anime and comics. Since we both love anime, manga and general nerdy culture, we decided we wanted to share that love by making nerdy merchandise!
We've decided to start our business with four anime inspired beanies:
The Akatsuki is the infamous villain group from Naruto, who pretty much broke all our hearts with their sobbing back stories and tragic acts (looking at you Itachi and Nagato). Our Akatsuki beanie is inspired by their infamous cloaks, we decided to take their red cloud emblem and bring it on a beanie. Now you can pretend to be a modern day Akatsuki member.
In this day and age, we all seemed to be Simps for something. If you don't know what being a simp means, Simp is the urban recognised term for showing excessive attention and love towards something. For example, Hisoka is a simp for Gon. Our Simp x Simp Beanie is inspired by the Hunter x Hunter logo, designed to show everyone that you simp over something.
Jojo's Bizarre Adventures has already became a famous anime known for it's very bizarre adventures and unique art style. But it's also known for the endless memes it provides. We decided to make a beanie inspired by the menacing characters that pop up in Jojo whenever the characters are faced with an enemy stand users. And that beanie is our Jojo Menacing Beanie, our only beanie that comes in vibrant purple and has become one of our best sellers!
Em is a huge Haikyu fan, so it wouldn't be right if we didn't make a beanie inspired by the hugely popular volleyball anime. Our Fly High Beanie is inspired by the famous NBA logo while combining the visuals of Shoyo’s minus tempo spike, to encourage all the fans to fly high and chase their dreams.
As a small business, we're still going to be adding more products over time. We have quite a few ideas on the back burner that will slowly be making our way to our site soon!
